Abstract
The linguistic, cultural and geographic context of the Basque Country has been the main reason for the Basque education system and, specially, the Ikastolas (basque schools) to think about their own educational goals and build a new multilingual model that, by integrating subjects and languages, promotes the use of languages, the development of subjects and the involvement of students. This article aims to analyze French teaching materials of the Ikastolas with the intention of studying the methodology for teaching French verbs and the communicative skills progressively acquired by students.
