La tension dans le processus de grammaticalisation. Une contribution à la typologie phonétique des langues

Resum

En aquest article, es presenta un esbós de tipologia fonètica de llengües a partir de la tensió fonètica, definida i caracteritzada pel Sistema verbo-tonal i que constitueix un universal lingüístic atès el seu caràcter biològic. La investigació ha consistit a analitzar la tensió mínima, i.e. la distensió, associada pel Sistema Verbo-tonal al component gramatical de la parla, sobre el qual s’ha assenyalat la iconicitat de les manifestacions entre pla de l’expressió i pla del contingut. Partint d’aquests principis, s’ha constituït un corpus de diferents manifestacions del procés de gramaticalització en anglès, xinès, català, espanyol, francès i italià com a exemple de mecanisme de distensió que opera en aquestes llengües. S’ha parametritzat des del punt de vista acústic l’erosió fònica, que constitueix el correlat fonètic de la desemantització  inherent al procés de gramaticalització,  la qual cosa ha permès de posar de manifest certs denominadors comuns interlingüístics en la transició lèxic à gramàtica, en particular en el pla prosòdic, així com certes particularitats en les llengües considerades en la investigació (emmudiment, diftongació, monoftongació) i, en última instància, l’escalaritat del procés de gramaticalització i de la distensió en el pla fònic. Contemplada en aquesta perspectiva, l’escalaritat de les manifestacions fòniques del procés de gramaticalització permet de caracteritzar les realitzacions d’una llengua com a manifestacions d’un procés d’aprenentatge i de precisar-ne el grau de desviació.
