Résumé

The archetype, conceived as a matrix and transformative core, explains how the myth of Pandora comprises three identities that it has consolidated since the decadent period. Its rewritings are plurivocal in European culture, and whatever mistrust one may have towards this mythical narrative, the cosmogonic as well as eschatological model that has emerged has the merit of turning towards an ecocritical and “mythodological” reading of the first woman.
