Abstract
The novel is built on quotations, allusions and references of every kind; The different levels of significance that come through the plurivoc writing of the Congolese author are considered in the light of the few signs that are rather parsimoniously provided. The intertext made up of a variety of heteroclite material thus confronts the narrataire with real hermeneutics in order to lay bare the African reality underlying the distorted mirror of farce.
