Resumen
In the present article, the author analyzes the translation in Italian language which Carlo Goldoni realizes in 1789 of his own work Le Bourru bienfaisant, written and played in French from 1771. She tries to demonstrate that, if the quality of this one is quite weak, the causes of its weaknesses maybe are not to be looked only in the possible linguistic conflict from which would suffer our trilingual author, acting for a while as selftranslator.
