Zusammenfassung
The sociological perspective began in the field of comic criticism with the first endeavors of collectors and fans who wanted to express themselves in fanzines. The intellectuals approached the comic only when they could turn to some authorities to obtain support, and the profile of the social scholar who manages to find interpretation keys in the comics is something recent. Even the academy, refractory to the world of comics, opened itself to the study of this medium with explorations of Spanish society using cartoons, a particularity that is being used more every day.
