Resumo

This paper deals with a short analysis of six recent Spanish studies on the theory of translation, highlighting the main ideas behind these works and thus offer additional reading material to the students of the Translation and Interpreting programme at the University of Alicante. During their second year, these students take a 22-hour course with master classes and personal readings, which we hope they can enrich with the present paper.
