Resumen
The relationship between fictional and real dialogue is not always straightforward; the more mimetic the fictional interaction is, the illusion of closeness to an apparent reality seems to be stronger. In this respect, filmic dialogue is especially interesting as it shares the fictionality of novelistic and theatrical formats but it is also endowed with a particular richness of its own. In this paper I attempt to describe some peculiarities of filmic dialogue by assessing it in relation to its fictional and non-fictional counterparts.
