Abstract
The study of three stories of the Guadeloupean writer, Gisèle Pineau - L’odyssée d’Alizée, Un papillon dans la cité, L’Exil selon Julia - allows us to corroborate the evolutionof this Antillean literature and compare it with the evolution of other francophoneliteratures; for example with the Maghrebi or the African ones that share the migration aspect: the “beur” or the “migritude” literature respectively. In fact, these writingscould form a part of the world literature in French, but nowadays, interest in themderives mostly from their contribution to enriching the migrant literature in France.Migration and cosmopolitanism are also closely related to the life of the author and tothat of her characters who zigzag unrelentingly between spaces and different cultures. Therefore, first, we propose to study the literary context surrounding the writer andto subsequently analyse the trajectory of these migrant characters to the universal: anidentity search that finally allows us to reflect on specific forms of diversity, related toboth their own origins and their destination place.
