Resum

This paper deals with some reflections on day-to-day issues in which computer resources and their application to the study of Linguistics are now a well known fact. Should we talk of a new approach to Linguistics as a result of a separation between a traditional approach and one using computers? Will hyperwriting and hypereading lead to the end of printed books? Is it necessary to find new ways of hypertext reading? These questions have prompted us to study the sources and main features of hypertext, in the hope that it will lay the foundations for a digital text reading methodology.
