Resumen

Fanny de Beauharnais was a reputed salonnière and a woman of letters who left an extensive literary corpus, nowadays forgotten. Amongst her publications, some are noteworthy: a series of poems in Mélange de poésies fugitives et de prose sans conséquence, her Féeries and opuscules, a theatre play, poems in verse such as L’île de la félicité, and her epistolary historical novel, Lettres de Stéphanie. In this study we will examine her works and we will analyse the thinking in her writings as well as the reasons why her literary legacy has been forgotten.
