Abstract

In the period known as the «Golden Age of Spanish literature» in France, we highlight Paul Scarron, a convinced Hispanophile, who, in his novella, by rewriting his Spanish models, shows how life is in the sphere of influence of the Court. This work aims at proposing a study of the short novels of the “Roman Comique” and the “Nouvelles Tragi-Comiques”.
