Abstract
Campanella, with an almost parallel life to Bruno´s, and away out of the ideas of the Catholic Church for some time, he returned to it. And he put a part of his works within the reach of other people, less intellectual, as we can see in the different translations he had made of some of his works. He escaped from the Inquisition. Both, self-translators, can help create a story about self-translation.
