Resum
One of the main interests of Les Angoysses douloureuses is the coincidence between the writers name (Hélisenne de Crenne), the main female characters name (Hélisenne), and the narrators name (Dame Hélisenne) in the first part. These ideas make us consider the name Hélisenne while studying its character, in order to understand in which way such name confers to Les Angoysses douloureuses, such a discussed structure and coherence. The firt part proposes an analyse of the names of the main characters in four works of the literary context of Les Angoysses douloureuses: Lystoire des deux vrays amans, La Complainte des tristes amours de Flammette, La Deplourable fin de Flammette, and the first tale within Les Comptes Amoureux de Madame Flore. The second and third parts propose a journey through the personal and geographical onomastic of Les Angoysses douloureuses. This journey allows us to see that the personality of the main character is supported by the legends of Elisa-Dido and Helena through an intricate range of portraits based on several relationships. Our study allows to show up some literary techniques in what concerns the sources, the portraits, and the ludic style. This one can be seen through an absurd portrait, through the creation of placenames, through imitation, or through the choice of a pseudonym, Hélisenne de Crenne, which summarises the constant mixture of fiction and reality in the book. This ludic approach of the literary creation is one of the main features in the book by Hélisenne de Crenne, though the elegiac trait of its tone. These ideas make clear how the writing and the literary technique were extremely important topics for the author.
